Refresher Course

RPS Radiation Safety Training - laboratory radiochemicalsA one-day refresher course designed for RPSs or radiation workers using unsealed radioactive materials in tracer quantities. Particular emphasis is given to:

  • Site-specific safety procedures
  • Radiation risk assessment
  • Updates to the relevant legislation
  • Contingency planning for spills


Radiation Protection Supervisors (RPS) should receive refresher training every 3 to 5 years, depending on the nature and complexity of the radiation work.

Course details

  • Course fees: £ POA
  • Refresher courses are held at your premises on request.
  • Course duration approximately 6.5 hours.
  • Residential RPS Courses are also available
